JWS Industries are seeking an experienced and motivated Asset Coordinator to oversee the management, tracking, maintenance, for both workshop and site-based assets supporting fabrication, SMP, shutdown, and construction operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring plant, tools, equipment, and site assets are maintained, compliant, available, and efficiently allocated across multiple projects and operational sites. The successful candidate will work closely with workshop personnel, supervisors, project teams, and logistics providers to support operational readiness and minimise downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate allocation and mobilisation of workshop and site assets
- Maintain accurate asset registers, inspection records, and compliance documentation
- Monitor servicing, maintenance schedules, calibrations, and certifications
- Coordinate repairs, breakdowns, and replacement of damaged equipment
- Track tooling, plant, lifting equipment, and consumables across multiple sites
- Conduct routine audits and inspections of workshop and field assets
- Liaise with project teams and supervisors regarding asset requirements and availability
- Support shutdown and project mobilisation activities
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and WHS requirements
- Assist with procurement and inventory management where required
About You
- Previous experience in an Asset Coordinator, Plant Coordinator, Workshop Coordinator, or similar role
- Strong understanding of fabrication workshop operations and site-based construction/shutdown environments
- Experience managing plant, tools, lifting equipment, and operational assets
- High level organisational and time management skills
- Strong computer literacy and experience using asset management systems
- Ability to prioritise competing operational demands
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Forklift ticket required and high-risk licences advantageous

- Monday to Friday
- 10 hour days (dayshift)
Pay Rate
To be discussed, based on candidates experience and qualifications.
Employment Type
Casual with the opportunity to transition to full-time after successful probationary period.
