About the Role

You’ll be working on a range of structural, piping and heavy fabrication projects, contributing to high-standard welding and fabrication work across shutdowns, maintenance and project-based operations.

We are looking for candidates who are available for an immediate start and can consistently deliver quality work in fast-paced environments.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Trade qualification in Fabrication or related discipline
  • Proven experience in structural, pipe or heavy fabrication welding
  • Ability to pass MMAW/FCAW weld tests in the 6G position on carbon steel pipe
  • Construction White/Blue Card
  • Current Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (within the last 2 years)
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and site medical testing
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork

Local candidates are preferred; however, accommodation may be available for suitable applicants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding of components and piping in accordance with approved welding procedures
  • Use specialised welding processes including FCAW, GTAW/TIG, MIG, and MMAW
  • Complete fit-up and welding tasks in multiple positions, including 6G
  • Prepare materials and joints prior to welding, including grinding, cleaning and pre-heating
  • Carry out structural and pressure-rated welding on piping, tanks, vessels and support structures
  • Support maintenance, shutdowns, and turnaround activities with high-quality, code-compliant welding
  • Maintain accurate welding records and documentation for compliance and audits
  • Contribute to a safe, productive, and team-focused work environment
